Dr. Bonnie Coe

- About Dr. Coe:
Bonnie L. Coe, PhD, is originally from Gallipolis, Ohio. She received her bachelor and master's degrees from The Ohio State University and her doctoral degree from The University of Dayton. Dr. Coe has done post-doctoral work at Indiana University. She has also participated in the Harvard Institute for Educational Management and Harvard Seminar for New Presidents.
Dr. Coe's work experience varies with training and development at a number of hospitals in Ohio, research and consultation work, and serving as both high a school teacher and high school principal. Dr. Coe was also Interim Director & Co-Principal Investigator at Sinclair Community College and Vice President and Dean of Faculty at Central Ohio Technical College. In May 2004, she was appointed President of Central Ohio Technical College. She is also active in the Newark Rotary group.
Some of the many honors and awards Dr. Coe has received include: 2015 Excellence in Higher Education Leadership Award—ACE Ohio Women's Network, 2011 ACCT Regional Chief Executive Officer Award - Central Region, 2010 Bravo Award from the Newark Rotary Club, 2008 LEADS Community Leader of the Year, 2008 Women in Business Leadership Award from the Knox County Chamber, 2005 Licking County Women of Achievement, Coshocton Mayor's 2003 Proclamation "Commendation for Visionary Leadership & Commitment to the Coshocton Education Center", The Bing Davis Lifetime Achievement Award 2001 and recognition from the Ohio House of Representatives in 1990 for her "tremendous contributions to the field of education". Dr. Coe and her husband Larry reside in Newark and are the proud parents of seven children.
